The aims of the training are to enable the apprentice to- give an account of and perform work according to laws, regulations and standards
- plan, perform, document and evaluate own work
- control and evaluate surfaces and find visible errors or deficiencies
- report deviations and do improvements to problems or deficiencies
- evaluate the need for and perform surface treatment on organic, mineral and metallic surfaces
- evaluate the need for and perform regular and periodic maintenance based on material properties, conditions and areas of use for surfaces
- select, handle and care for materials
- select, use and maintain tools, machines and equipment
- use colour systems together with colouration of surfaces
- do calculations for treating surfaces
- work in an economic and rational manner
- perform work in accordance with requirements to EHS
- use protection and safety equipment
