Activation subjects
The aims of the training are to enable the apprentice to- obtain and use relevant information about the functional level of clients, their needs and interests, and knowing was it possible for them
- set activities goals, implement these and assess activities processes from the user's point of view
- organise social, physical and cultural activities to suit the functional abilities of the clients and knowing was it possible for them
- implement and assess observations of clients in their work and activities
- concretise ideas and validate concepts and choice of activities suitable for physical, mental and social circumstances of different clients
- demonstrate the use of materials, tools and techniques suitable for different activities
- communicate with clients, relatives and collaborators in occupational therapy work
- perform basic first aid
- give an account of work routines and participate in internal control tasks and quality assurance
- use digital tools in occupational therapy
Administration subjects
The aims of the training are to enable the apprentice to- administrate and document occupational therapy work
- give an account of and substantiate goals for occupational therapy work
- document and assess the affect of occupational therapy work for users
- plan new activities based on documented functional changes in a client
- give an account of trends in the occupational therapy profession
- present and market occupational therapy
- set up a budget and calculate material use and product prices
- use digital tools in your work
- give an account of and comply with current legislation related to occupational therapy related to environment, health and safety
