How well is the Norwegian school system doing overall? Are there significant discrepancies related to resources between schools, municipalities or counties? How are the resources distributed and is the use changing over time? How do Norwegian pupils experience their learning environment?
The results of the international PISA 2009 study shows that Norwegian pupils have improved in all three of the areas included in the study: Reading, Mathematics and Science. This tells us that we are on the right track, and it is important that we continue to work for an improved education for all.
